Our aims are simple we would like to establish a diverse local food network for the Island of Arran that encompasses organic growing techniques, permaculture design principles and regenerative agricultural practises.
Initially our focus is on establishing the market garden alongside our free range chickens, quails and rare breed pigs. We also will be offering other organic produce and speciality homeware items that can be a little tricky to find on the island.
Focusing on the Community Supported Agriculture model (CSA) we will be offering a select number of farm supporter accounts to start with in order for us to get to know our customers and their needs.
With this in mind some of our farm accounts will be based on skill shares and we will also be setting up various courses from Green woodworking through Herbal medicine to Wholefood cooking.
To begin with due to limited space and resources a lot of produce will be selected from other organic producers. However season by season we aim to have more local Arran produce available and work with other on island growers and producers.
